I am the owner of Lavada’s Alabaster Box LLC. Here is my testimony. In 2021, I was diagnosed with psoriasis. The patches on my body were painful and embarrassing. Initially, the flare ups were small in places like my knees, elbows and the back of my scalp, but things quickly got out of hand. There were times I had flare ups, and the only way to cover it up was with long sleeves and pants. It was very uncomfortable. My scalp would form patches and flake all over my clothing and furniture. My skin would flake and get agitated rubbing against my clothing. The wearing of long sleeves shirts in the summer, the flaking of my scalp and patches of hair falling out began to take its toll on my self-esteem. I began to pray and ask God to heal my body, and it was at this time, that he gave me the recipe for my body butter.

I named the first body butter I created Healing. It brought soothing relief to my skin. I could manage to go all day without flaking and scratching. I knew this was I a product that I needed to share with others. And this, is how Lavada’s Alabaster Box began. We use the best of butters, emollients and essential oils to create body butters that not only heal the body and senses, but the soul.
